These terms govern the Compleo creator program, published by Teradev Studio (“Compleo”). They supplement the general terms of use (the “Terms”); for everything relating to the creator program, these terms prevail.
The program is reserved for professionals: companies, self-employed persons and entrepreneurs holding a valid VAT number. Private individuals cannot join the program.
It is open by invitation from Compleo. The creator must be of legal age and hold a Compleo account, marked as “creator” by Compleo.
When joining the program, the creator provides their VAT number, their VAT status (article 6) and their billing details. A VAT number from a European Union country is checked against the European Commission’s VIES system; if it is not recognised as valid, the application is refused. A creator established outside the European Union provides their tax identification or company number.
The creator code is the creator’s personal referral code (and its link compleoapp.com/r/CODE). A person becomes a referred member of the creator when they enter this code in the Compleo app, during sign-up or within the 30 days that follow, under the referral conditions described in the Terms: one code per account, final choice, accounts created after referrals were launched. The referred member receives the same benefits as for any referral. The creator cannot be their own referred member, nor refer an account they control.
The creator receives 20% of the net revenue that Compleo collects on the Premium subscriptions of their referred members.
Compleo calculates commissions from the payment information sent by Apple and Google (through RevenueCat). This data is authoritative.
On the 5th of each month, Compleo draws up the statement for the previous month: number of referred members, number of paying subscribers, net revenue, commission for the month, amounts carried over and deductions. The statement is sent by email to the address of the creator account and can be viewed in the Creator tab of the account area on compleoapp.com. It states the creator’s VAT status.
A refund that becomes known after a statement has been drawn up (late refund) is deducted from the following statement.
The creator undertakes to:
Compleo may check the origin of referred members (for example accounts created from the same device as the creator’s) and ask the creator for explanations. Commissions relating to referred members or payments deemed fraudulent or contrary to these terms are not due, and are deducted from the following statements if they have already been paid.
For the program, Compleo processes the creator’s VAT number, the result of its VIES check, their VAT status and their billing details (name or company name, address, bank details), as well as the statements, kept for 10 years under accounting obligations.
In the Creator tab, the creator sees the list of their referred members (username and sign-up date) and, only as monthly totals, the number of paying subscribers, the net revenue and their commission. The number of paying subscribers for a month is only shown from 3 referred members in total, cumulated (“fewer than 3” below that). They never see whether a particular referred member is subscribed, nor their email address, nor what they paid. See the Privacy policy.
Commissions are stated exclusive of VAT. The creator is solely responsible for their tax and social security obligations.
Compleo may change these terms. The creator is notified by email at least 30 days before a change that is unfavourable to them takes effect; they may then end their participation (termination without fault). Commissions already earned are never reduced retroactively.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
